Being a commissioner is not as overwhelming as you might think because the website walks you through the entire process!  Being a commissioner involves administering your league including email invitations to potential members as well as setting league parameters (if you decide the UFOC default setttings aren't appropriate) and finally tracking your league's winnings or prize distribution if you decide to have any.

One of the highlights of being commissioner of a UFOC league is you decide how many members/players in your league, points per victory breakdowns, draft orders, and even if you want to hold a live draft party or not.  If you decide to have a draft party you can still use the online feature to conduct the draft!  The draft if held live can be combined online for those owners that aren't able to make their picks in person.  Of course there is plenty of socializing and friendly banter during the draft for those owners whose picks might come as a surprise.
